Rocksolver at SLEX

A couple of weeks ago Intresto exhibited the world’s first computer designed dry stone wall at the Armidale Sustainable Living Expo (SLEX). Normally it’s difficult to get someone’s opinion on a new product by approaching them in the street because most people are busy and maybe a little wary of being approached by a stranger so having a stall at SLEX was a great market research opportunity.

I spoke to over 100 people who were very interested and very positive about the Rocksolver technology. It wasn’t a random sample but for a small town it was a good number.

One of the interesting things is that the people who see the potential of Rocksolver come from all age groups and all backgrounds. Here are some of the comments from our visitor’s book:

“This is a wonderful idea – intelligence and nature!”
“Smart idea – congratulations with the innovation – the world needs it.”
“As an experienced rock wall builder – anything to allow quicker progress – what fun. Thanks.”
“Fantastic idea. We have heaps of rocks at Kentucky and need this system!”
“An absolutely fantastic idea that has great potential.”
“I am impressed. This concept should eventually make dry stone walling quicker, easier and more conservative of materials.”
“Fantastic project! Best of luck.”
“Very innovative project and original idea. Good luck getting it out into the world.”
“Innovation and conceptually simple for a complex problem. Has great potential and a great saving on energy and resources.”
